The Business Studies and Economics Department is a thriving part of Bablake School.

FACILITIES

The department comprises 3 teaching rooms, one of which has 14 networked computers and full AV facilities.

CURRICULUM

Business Studies and Economics are available at AS and A2.
 

ETHOS

In addition to high levels of academic achievement, the Department encourages its students to involve themselves in various business related activities that go beyond the curriculum. Details of these will soon be found on this website.

DESTINATIONS

Many of our students embark upon degree courses in Business and Economics related areas at excellent Universities upon leaving Bablake's 6th Form. A very high proportion of former students gain employment in these areas upon graduating.

EXTRA CURRICULAR

Students participate in a range of extracurricular activities, e.g. Young Enterprise, Bank of England Target 2.5 Challenge, visits to local firms and an annual optional European field trip.
