On occasion, we invite former pupils or local or national musicians into Bablake to play a masterclass or promote a new album. These events are a great way to hear live music in its raw state and often Bablake pupils will support the artist. www.myspace.com/bablakegigs has more information on who has played at the school.

Last year, Wes Finch & The Dirty Band and Ellen Miller both played short sets for the U6th 'Magical Musical Mystery Tour' Enrichment group. Both these sets were recorded and have been posted on Bablake's YouTube channel. This year, Kristy Gallacher has already performed for this session.

We have even produced an album, The Bablake Sessions, for Teenage Cancer Trust, that includes many of the artists who have learnt their music at Bablake or have played at our EDM.
