Former pupil Josh Buggea is celebrating being part of the England U18 rugby team which is the proud winner of the Justin Bridou trophy after beating Ireland 25-13 in the FIRA/AER European Championship final recently in Madrid.

Josh, whose rugby excellence has been recently rewarded by the award of a year's contract with Worcester Warriors, came off the bench early in the second half to play at No 8 and fully enjoyed being part of the team that has been undefeated all season.

Josh, who has been studying at Hartpury College since leaving Bablake, had met fellow former pupil Ben Cooper (Scotland U18) in a match before the tournament and both were hoping to renew their friendly rivalry in Madrid.
