Bablake Chemist Develops ASE Resources

News and Features Staff

Last term, Mr Nicholas Swift of the Association for Science Education (ASE) approached our Chemistry department to ask whether Ms Sam Holyman would be happy to support that organisation by developing some lessons and resources for students and teachers.

Ms Holyman explains what has happened since: 'I wrote a lesson, which was then trialled with Shell R, who were studying the topic 'Acids and Alkalis', before developing a number of other linked lessons. This first lesson, which has already gone live, was going to be promoted at the recent Association for Science Education's annual conference, held this year at the University of Reading.'

Well done to Ms Holyman and the Chemistry department. To view the materials, which have been endorsed by the Chilled Food Association (CFA) and credited to Bablake, please click here.
