Introducing Bablake's eCadets

Co-curricular News and Features

Under the tutelage of Mrs Gill Press (Deputy Head- Pastoral), Bablake has embarked on its first structured peer-to-peer eSafety initiative called eCadets. The initiative is implemented in conjunction with eTreble9, the company who recently visited Bablake to deliver online safety advice to parents, students and staff.

Bablake's first eCadets, eight in total chosen from our Shells to 4th year by the ICT department, complete monthly tasks to promote eSafety. They also gain access to a secure eCadet Zone, where they have all the materials they need to offer help and advice to their peers for keeping safe online.

We hope to report further on their campaign and invaluable programme of activities as the year progresses.
