Young Geographers Impress At Worldwise Quiz

Bablake's Geography department headed to Staffordshire University this week to take part in the local round of the Geographical Association 'Worldwise Quiz'.

We put forward three teams and were most impressed with Adam Dickinson, Max Harrison and George Parker, who had the joint highest score in the qualifying round, despite the fact that all the other schools present had teams made up of older pupils.

In the final, Adam, George and Max performed very well, running in 2nd, narrowly beaten by Newcastle-under-Lyme School. Well done to all our pupils and thank you to Miss Rebecca Priest (Geography) for organising the competition entry.
