Madison Is Awarded An Ogden Physics Prize

Sixth Form Physics

L6th student Madison Cotteret will be proudly adding 'Physicist of the Year' (for 2015-16) to his CV and any imminent UCAS application.

Madison is the latest of our pupils to win this award, which is sponsored by The Ogden Trust and given to 6th formers across Coventry and Warwickshire. He attended an awards ceremony at the University of Warwick earlier this term, with his parents and Head of Physics Mr Trevor Hyde, to receive the award.

Madison is currently involved with a Gold CREST award project at the university which involves analysing data from CERN about the Large Hadron Collider, the world's largest and most powerful particle accelerator.

We wish Madison and our other dynamic scientists from the Class of 2009, many of whom are working towards their own Gold CRESTcertificates for other exciting research, all the very best for their AS results later this summer.
