Mini Wheats

There are exciting times ahead for our former pupils' rugby club Old Wheatleyans RFC, as in September it will be launching the 'Mini Wheats'.

The club's committee has just announced the Mini Wheats will begin for boys and girls under the age of six. This is a move that has been talked about for several years and with the dedication of the current committee can now be set up with the aim of coaching the next generation of players. 

The coaches, RFU fully qualified and CRB checked, will be on hand to deliver an introduction to rugby that is fun, safe and enjoyable. Training sessions will begin on Sunday 12th September and there is a dedicated Facebook page for the Minis, where all the latest information will be posted. Kit supplier Scorpion is also working with the club to create the first range of kits for the Minis!
