Royal Academy of Music Success for Junior School Pupil Harry

Junior School Music

A huge congratulations to Harry Scott-Burt who has been offered a place at the Royal Academy of Music to study cello at their Junior Academy from September.

The Junior Academy offers a unique opportunity to talented and committed young musicians from all backgrounds who want to be inspired and challenged in their music-making. The panel were so impressed by Harry's audition they offered him a place on the spot! This is a fantastic achievement for someone who is only 11, especially as the Junior Academy is usually for children aged 13-18.

Harry's recent success follows his Grade 8 Distinction earlier in the year as well as his ongoing involvement with the National Children's Orchestra. We wish Harry all the best in this next stage of his musical journey and look forward to keeping up to date with his very bright future in music.
