Space Seeds Update!

Pre Prep Science

You may recall our Pre Prep Pupils enjoyed planting seeds under experiment conditions earlier this term as part of the RHS Rocket Science project.

The children were sent two packets of seeds - one blue and one red. One held seeds that had been in space for several months with astronaut Tim Peake, while the other had identical seeds that had stayed on earth.

Later this term, we will be able to report on how the two packets of 100 seeds have fared by the end of the experiment. It seems from the picture accompanying this article taken late last week that much growth has already happened!

The project is aimed at inspiring pupils to think scientifically and helping them to see the potential of future careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) and Horticulture.
