Valete 2015- 16: (7) Miss Caroline Farmer (Director of Drama)

Senior School Staff

After bidding Mr Rushton farewell yesterday, today we say goodbye to another of our Arts teachers.

Miss Caroline Farmer was appointed as Director of Drama in 2012, and arrived at Bablake with experience of professional acting as well as teaching. She has maintained the school's enviable link with the Edinburgh Fringe - ensuring the school has enjoyed a consecutive run of 30 productions - and been able to impart advice to our aspiring actors on how to impress on the professional stage.

In the last four years, we have enjoyed some outstanding performances, most recently a production of 'The Musicians' - with a cast covering every school age group - as part of the Belgrade's National Theatre 'Connections' celebrations.

We wish Miss Farmer well in her new post at the British International School of Chicago - it is an exciting opportunity for her and we look forward to hearing of her success in this role.
