Valete 2015- 16: (13) Mrs Alyson Heath (Food and Textiles)

Senior School Staff

We say goodbye this year to another member of staff from our Food and Textiles department.

Mrs Alyson Heath arrived at Bablake in 1998 as a part-time teacher of Home Economics. For close to two decades, she has been a very dedicated, popular form tutor whilst also teaching Textiles, Art and Food to a very high standard.

She has accompanied various school trips, where her positive view of life and excellent sense of humour have proved tremendous assets! Her greatest legacy however on the life of our community has undoubtedly been her selfless leadership of our Charity and Community Service, which she coordinated when a full-time member of staff.

Working part-time latterly, Mrs Heath has become used to life split between Coventry and Cornwall. With the freedom of retirement, we suspect the charms of the Cornish air, cuisine and company may be rather too tempting to leave as often as she has had to in the past! We wish her every happiness in retirement.
