Kare Aden-'Again' Wins Another Medal In Rio

Senior School Sport

Bablake's inspirational teenager Kare Adenegan gained her second 2016 Paralympic Games medal last night in an exciting T34 400m final.

Kare, who won silver at the weekend in the T34 100m, once again set a personal best to take bronze, while under extreme pressure from Australian racer Rosemary Little in the final 30 metres.

Coventry University's Hannah Cockcroft MBE was in imperious form setting a new world record for the gold medal, while Alexa Halko (USA) took silver.

Once again the Bablake community is so proud of Kare's achievements at the games, and everyone wishes her all the very best for her final race in Rio, the 800m, on Friday evening. It would be amazing if she could add gold to her tally, but Hannah Cockcroft, who is aiming for three golds, looks in unbeatable form!
