The girls warmed up with half court games making sure to show themselves as professional and a force to be reckoned with. The U11 A match started slowly and the first quarter ended 1-0, the B team also took some time to convert their determined play into goals and it wasn't until the second quarter that the scores started to increase more steadily.

Player of the match for the B team, Emily, scored some excellent goals with the support of Grace in the circle. The B team showed some fine dodging skills as Alice, Natish and Connie brought the ball effortlessly down court to help them take home a 8-1 win.

Birthday girl and captain for the day, Libby H, was given the accolade of player of the match in the A team game after they won 12-4.
