Second Novel Published For Young Adult Fiction Author

We are delighted to announce former pupil and science graduate Lauren James has just published her second novel, 'The Last Beginning'.

Just over a year ago, we welcomed Lauren back to Bablake to help launch her debut young adult fiction novel, 'The Next Together'. The year since has been filled not only with exciting promotional events, but there has also been the publication of a short story 'Another Together'. Meanwhile her fans have been eagerly awaiting the publication of 'The Last Beginning', sequel to 'The Next Together'.

This week, Lauren was able to reveal that her third novel, 'The Loneliest Girl in the Universe', will be published in 2017 - part of a new publishing deal with Walker Books.

We are hoping former Bablake librarian Lauren will be able to fit another book signing into her busy schedule very soon, and news of this will be on our Main Library's website when we know more details.
