Reverse Advent Collection

Many thanks to everyone who supported Bablake's Reverse Advent calendar so generously.

Earlier this month, we reported on the excellent initiative from Bablake's Sikh and Hindu Society and Charity Co-ordinator Mrs Maria O'Neill who were keen to gather items for some of Coventry's homeless. As you can see from the final photograph of the collection, there was an excellent response to this request. 

The initiative also prompted a number of staff to compile their own family versions for distribution in the run up to the festive period.

Well done to all those who really have reinforced the ethos of care, kindness and charity at this time of year, especially when they have donated so generously to so many other appeals over the rest of 2016.

Our Sikh and Hindu Society was also able to buy a vast number of blankets for the homeless from money raised over the year. We look forward to featuring this in the New Year.
