Winter Nets In Full Swing

Bablake's Winter Programme of Cricket Nets is well under way.

This term we have begun a comprehensive series of evening sessions for our Junior cricketers, but for some players there has been the chance to hone their skills throughout most of the winter.

Master in charge of Cricket Mr Andrew Phillips explains further: "Academy sessions have been running since October - on Tuesday and Friday lunchtimes and before school on Friday - for 16 Bablake players selected for the Warwickshire Academy. Winter nets are now aimed at all players leading into the season and, of course, all our 2017 fixtures may be viewed on bablakesport.com.

The current programme, which takes place in our Sports Hall from 4pm to 5.30pm, is as follows:

• Monday - U13s & U15s.
• Tuesday - U14s.
• Thursday - U12s.

Senior nets will commence after February half term.
