New Date For 1st XV Memorial Match

A new date for the 2017 contest for the Mike Hibbert Memorial Shield has been announced.

Monday 13th March is the new date for the annual 1st XV rugby derby versus KHVIII at Coventry RFC; the game will kick off at 7pm. This follows the unfortunate weather conditions that forced the late postponement of the match earlier this month.

Admission, charged at the turnstiles, will again be priced at £2 for adults and £1 for anyone aged 18 or under.

This fixture is contested each year in honour of Mike Hibbert, a former pupil who played for over 30 years for the Old Wheatleyans RFC and was a key member of the Coventry Schools Former Pupils Association committee.
