An Exceptional House Music Festival Beckons

Bablake's 2017 House Music Festival promises to be an excellent evening's entertainment once more.

Today's rehearsal for all four Houses amply demonstrated the extent and variety of the musical talent on show at Bablake. Whether it were Crow's exceptional classical talent (with Grade 8 soloists Avni Kant - harp - and Anna White - cello - leading the way), Bayley's immaculate contemporary song selection, Fairfax's musical journey, (electric cello, timpani drums, UV-lit dancing, fun finale and all) or Wheatley's drama and dance helping tell the tales of legendary musicians of the past, the standard of all Houses promised to be exceptional on show night.

The audience in place by 7pm tomorrow night will certainly enjoy a superb evening and we thank all the Sixth Formers who have worked so hard with their House Heads to ensure the music on offer will be of the highest quality.
