Alex Strikes A New Note

Congratulations to one of our Fourth Year musicians who has made rapid progress with an exciting new musical direction.

Alex Hyde, more obviously recognised in session with Mr Cooper's 'Wind Band', has not only made excellent progress with the drums, but he has just this term been appointed as organist at the Methodist Central Hall in Coventry, following the fantastic progress he has made with the instrument, under Dr Nicholas Scott-Burt's tutelage.

Bablake's Music Department is very proud to have another working professional musician in the midst!
