Bablake School Announces Wasp Netball Academy Partnership

Bablake School is excited to announce a new partnership with Wasps Netball Academy

Bablake has been chosen as a new academy hub for the local Superleague Netball club. Wasps Netball Academy has launched 8 Hubs targeting the most talented 13-18 year olds across the area. They will use the school facilities on a Thursday evening, 6pm-8pm, to train and develop players who have been successful at hub trials. The 8 Performance Hubs will then play each other in the Wasps Netball Academy League with the league Grand Final taking place at the Ricoh Arena ahead of one of the Netball Superleague fixtures.

The new partnership represents a fantastic opportunity for our pupils who will have the chance to trial for the hub and, if successful, work with some of the best netball coaches in the country.
