Wales Hockey Call Up For Bablake Teacher

We are very pleased to pass on our congratulations to Bablake ICT teacher Mr L Atwal, who has been formally selected for the Full Over 60 Wales Hockey Squad.

Mr Atwal, experienced hockey player and coach, attended three sets of trials before making it into the squad who will play at three international tournaments later in the year.

He will be playing in the Celtic Cup in Lille, 20-22 April, the 4 Nations in Dublin, 11-13 May and the World Cup in Barcelona 20-30 June. 

We wish Mr Atwal all the best in his training for the tournaments and will keep the school community up to date with tournament results through the Bablake Facebook page.
