Legally Blonde takes the stage

Senior School Drama

Curtains open tonight for our production of Legally Blonde – the show runs until Thursday and everyone is looking forward to an exciting performance.

We wish the very best to all of the students involved – we recognise just how much hard work and dedication has gone into the production!

One cast member commented on the development they’ve personally felt throughout – from auditions through to the pending performances, “…learning that you cannot achieve anything without hard work, that we should not take things for granted and how to easily co-operate with other people and flourishing my acting skills.”

Thank you to cast, crew and staff in advance for what we are certain will be another excellent Bablake Drama production. Special thanks to Ms Bradley for directing the performance as well as Mr Cooper and his band of musical talent.

Pupils are already seeing the rewards of their involvement:

“The biggest reward is to show the audience what we have been working on for the past four months and to see bonds forming on and off stage.”

“My biggest reward was having fun doing something different to what I've done before. I've never been involved with a school drama production while at Bablake so it was really interesting to see how much work goes into making something like this and how people pull together to make it all happen.”

Good luck everyone – have fun!
