The wait is over... A level results are in!

In these remarkable times, it was a pleasure to be able to invite our Upper Sixth in this morning to receive their long-awaited A level results. 

Headmaster, Mr Andrew Wright said, “We are immensely proud of our Sixth Form students, who have been awarded outstanding results, and today is all about acknowledging and celebrating the incredible young adults that they have become. They coped admirably with the news that their exams had been cancelled and that grades would be calculated by a formula. Fortunately, the vast majority have been rewarded with a fair allocation of results, however, there are some who are not in this situation and we will continue to support them in trying to work out what the next step should be. They have been a fantastic year group and I know that they will go on to do many great things.”

The staff have been delighted to see so many of our students realise their ambitions as they prepare to continue their education beyond Bablake. These incredible young people have demonstrated great resilience throughout a very difficult time and will no doubt continue to strive for excellence in all that they choose to do.

Well done to everyone and we wish them good luck as they approach the next exciting chapter of their lives!
