Our Shell pupils who have had Textiles lessons this term have been encouraged to show their creativity with materials. Jonny Wattis, one of our new pupils, brought in a quilt that had been expertly customised at home during his time at Bablake's Junior School.
Textiles teacher Miss Jodie Kukucska commented: 'We are very much looking forward to seeing finished work from the Shells in the coming months and items like Jonny's quilt will certainly inspire others.'
Mrs Caroline Davey (Head of Food and Textiles) added: 'It is always exciting to see the range of skills shown in the first pieces our pupils complete. Who knows, but we could have the next Giorgio Armani or interior designer and former pupil Lorna Syson in our midst?!'
