Valete- (10) Miss Hannah Moseley (Head of Girls' PE)

Archive Archive

It is appropriate that, on the day we host our first Charity Netball tournament for our former pupils, the next person to feature in our Valete series is a member of our PE department. Sadly we say goodbye to Miss Hannah Moseley who arrived at Bablake in September 2012 to teach Girls' PE.

With her very strong sporting pedigree, Miss Moseley was asked to act as Head of Department from April 2013 during Mrs Webley’s maternity leave, a post which was then made permanent, earlier this year, in January.

As well as being instrumental, alongside Mr Andrew Phillips (Boys' PE, Master i/c Cricket and Hockey), in linking Bablake's sporting fixtures to SchoolsSports.com and leading the Girls' PE department tentatively into the world of Twitter, Miss Moseley led her department with expertise and enthusiasm.

Always keen to innovate and provide an outstanding sporting experience for all pupils, Miss Moseley was also eager to support the pastoral life of the school and strongly supported our successful Artsmark Gold application.

We wish Miss Moseley all the very best for her life beyond Bablake. We understand she has some very exciting travel plans set up for the immediate future and are sure her love of the House scene and music festivals will feature prominently too.
