Hail Stopped Play!

A violent hailstorm yesterday afternoon soon covered our new all-weather Astro surface with a white carpet, rudely interrupting the games programme for our 3rd year pupils. 

Mr Andrew Phillips (Master i/c Cricket) tweeted a photograph of the break in play for our U14 cricketers and our Instagram account soon enhanced the excellent image with a few filters for our loyal followers on that platform!

We hope that the second half of term ushers in some much sought after sunshine in preparation for the summer programme of athletics, cricket, rounders and tennis. We also have our Sports Day to look forward at the start of July and the popular annual Bablake T20 on Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th July.
