Photographs from the world of sport caught the eye of the judges most when they awarded 2nd and 3rd place in the 'Spirit of Bablake' category for our House Photography competition.

We congratulate L6th former Oliver Warlow on winning 2nd place for Crow and U6th pupil Sophie Lilly for gaining 3rd place for Wheatley. 

For his very sharp tennis image, Oliver used a Nikon D3100 on a 1/500 exposure, while Sophie's snapshot of Hockey exuberance was taken on a Nikon Coolpix P500 with an exposure time of 1/1000 to freeze the motion.

Tomorrow we will reveal the excellent winning image in this category.
