Applying to Bablake Junior

The majority of children join Bablake Junior in Year 3 but we also encourage applications to join us in Year 4, 5 or 6.

Should you be moving into the area or changing schools, we can accommodate mid-year and mid-term starters where there are places available. Please contact the Admissions team on 024 7627 1248 who will be happy to help.

Visit us

We encourage you to visit Bablake Junior School to experience first-hand what makes our school so special. Tours can be booked throughout the year with our Admissions team or come along to one of our many open events.

We will talk you through the Admissions process and answer any questions you may have.

Assessments

Once we have an application for your child, we will invite them into school to spend a morning or afternoon with us. This provides an excellent opportunity for your child to get to know us and for us to get to know your child. During their visit, children have short assessments in Maths, Reading and Writing.

Offers

Offers will be made verbally by the Headmaster in the first instance and confirmed in writing shortly afterwards.

Accept the place

To accept the offer of a place, please return the Acceptance Form and pay the £500 Acceptance Fee.

Once you have formally accepted a place, we will be in touch with all the information you need to support the start of your child’s journey at Bablake.
