Applying to Senior School in Year 7

The majority of children join Bablake in Year 7 but we also encourage applications to join us in Year 8, 9 or 10.

We are delighted to be able to admit pupils all year round and have a small number of places available in Year 7 starting this September. Please contact Admissions on 024 7627 1248 to find out more.

Should you be moving into the area or changing schools, we can accommodate mid-year and mid-term starters where there are places available.

Apply
Please complete our online application form. The deadline for applications for Year 7 entry in September 2027 is October 2026, exact date to be confirmed.
If you wish to apply for a scholarship or bursary please indicate this on the application form. Further information regarding scholarships and bursaries can be found on our scholarships and bursaries page.

Entrance examination
We hold our entrance examination in November each year. Prospective pupils will be required to sit the exam with papers in English Comprehension, English Composition and Mathematics.

Offers
Offers will be sent out in December 2026, following the entrance exam.

Accept the place
To accept the offer of a place, please return the Acceptance Form and pay the £540 incl VAT Acceptance Fee.
Once we have confirmed your acceptance, you will receive information on our Year 7 Welcome Programme.
