Bablake Entrepreneurs Shine at County Showcase

On Wednesday 24 April Bablake students showcased their innovative businesses at this year's Young Enterprise County showcase event, winning three awards and progressing to the regional final.
EcoFriendz and The Beez Kneez, made up of Year 12 students, impressed judges with both their enthusiasm and professionalism as they presented their comprehensive company reports and answered questions from the panel.
EcoFriendz were delighted to win the Creativity Award with their unique eco-friendly storybook and activity pack, designed to educate and inspire children about environmental conservation.
The Beez Kneez clinched not one, but two awards: the Best Brand Award and the Overall Winner Award. Their business focuses on helping bees, selling fun, eco-friendly products such as beeswax wraps and wildflower see bags that directly support local pollinators and the environment.
Both groups now advance to the Regional Final on 22 May at The University of Warwick.
