Lower Sixth Geographers Explore Coastal and River Landforms
March 26, 2025
Our Lower Sixth Geographers recently enjoyed a field trip, taking full advantage of the sunshine while exploring the stunning coastal landforms at Flamborough Head and examining river processes in the picturesque North York Moors.

The students had the opportunity to see real-world geography, studying the impact of coastal erosion along the Holderness coast, which is Europe’s fastest-eroding coastline and learning about flood management strategies in Malton.
These hands-on experiences provided valuable insight into the topics they’ve been studying in the classroom.
It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to connect their learning with the landscape around them.
We’re incredibly proud of this enthusiastic group of Geographers.
