Bablake Teacher To Wield Willow At Edgbaston

Bablake Junior School's Head of Sport, Mr Ed Benfield, will be playing cricket at test match venue, Edgbaston, this weekend.

Mr Benfield will be wielding the willow for his club team, Rugby, in this year's Warwickshire T20 Finals day. A prolific, hard-hitting batsman with all round ability, his performances have seen him on the weekly Warwickshire club cricket honours board a few times over the last few seasons and we hope he will be able to repeat this form at the weekend.

Any Bablake spectators would be most welcome at the event which begins at noon, with Mr Benfield's match starting at 3pm. Free entry and free parking for all spectators.
