Nominate Your Grassroots Hero

Pitchero - the global network with over 12,000 sports websites uniting millions of players, parents, coaches and club officials  - has launched a competition to help celebrate its 10th anniversary.

The website would like to recognise the people whose unsung actions allow grassroots sports to thrive, therefore it has launched a competition where it is possible to recognise these contributions by nominating a volunteer who has, for example, been preparing pitches, washing kit or making teas for years. In effect, someone whose selfless actions have enabled many others to enjoy the camaraderie and thrills of amateur sport.
