Oddballs Foundation Raises Awareness on Male Health for Lower Sixth
February 20, 2025
Our Lower Sixth students recently had the opportunity to attend a Life Choices talk by Ben from the Oddballs Foundation.

Founded in December 2015, the Oddballs Foundation aims to raise awareness of testicular cancer and make a global impact on male health. With Testicular Cancer Awareness Month approaching, Ben, who is part of the University Ambassador Programme, led an important discussion about the issue.
Ben shared key facts, including that testicular cancer is the most common cancer affecting men aged 15 to 49. He educated students on the signs, symptoms and diagnosis of the disease.
A key part of the Oddballs Foundation’s mission is to remove the stigma surrounding testicular health. Their ambassadors visit schools, universities and workplaces to encourage men and boys to check themselves and normalise conversations about the topic.
We want to extend our gratitude to the Oddballs Foundation and to Ben for delivering this vital information in an engaging and thoughtful way.
