Pensioners’ Tea Party 2025

Bablake was proud to host its much-loved annual Pensioners’ Tea Party, an event that continues to be an annual tradition and a highlight of our community calendar.
Over 60 guests from across the city were welcomed for an afternoon of conversation and entertainment.
Pupils from Years 8, 10 and Lower Sixth played a central role in making the event a success, serving refreshments and chatting with guests throughout the afternoon. Their enthusiasm and kindness helped to create a welcoming atmosphere and demonstrated the strong sense of community that lies at the heart of Bablake’s values.
The school’s talented Food Department prepared homemade food, with tables decorated in a Mediterranean theme. The effort and attention to detail did not go unnoticed by our guests.
Entertainment was provided by our Performing Arts Department, with pupils delivering musical performances from recent concerts and school productions.
We are grateful to everyone who helped organise and support this special event and to our brilliant guests for joining us.
We are already looking forward to our Christmas celebration.
