Pre-Assessment Morning for Year 7

Our Pre-Assessment Morning is a valuable opportunity for your child to practise and become familiar with the format and content of our entrance exam. This informal session will help them build their confidence and feel more prepared for the exam in November 2026.
This Pre-Assessment Morning is for children applying for Year 7 entry in September 2027.
What happens during the morning?
We will complete practice papers in:
- Mathematics
- English Comprehension
- English Composition (Creative Writing).
Each paper is around 45 minutes duration. A light snack and drink will be provided during a short break.
The practice sessions take place in small groups and we always start the morning with an ice breaker and a fun activity to ensure your child feels at ease and ready to start the sessions with confidence.
After the event, we will send you brief written feedback on your child’s performance to support their ongoing preparation.
How to Book
Please complete our online application form by clicking the button below. You will then receive an invitation prior to the event giving you further details.
Once you have completed the application form, you will automatically be registered for the November entrance exam.
Places are limited so early booking is recommended.
