RSPB Big Birdwatch at Bablake Pre-Prep

As part of the RSPB’s Big Birdwatch, our Year One pupils had an exciting adventure exploring the beautiful grounds at The Grange.
The children discovered birds’ nests, spotted a variety of birds and even heard our resident parakeets!
They worked together to identify different species and shared ideas as a group about how to care for our feathered friends.
Inspired by their findings, Year One have requested to make bird feeders next in the hopes of attracting even more species.
We can’t wait to see which birds our other year groups spot in the coming weeks as they join in on the Big Birdwatch too.
