Springtime Adventures at Bablake Pre-Prep’s Activity Morning

Springtime Adventures, our activity morning on Saturday 8 March, offers families with children aged 2 to 6 years a chance to experience Bablake Pre-Prep’s engaging learning environment including Forest School, all of which will be guided by our passionate teachers and staff.

Families will enjoy a variety of spring-based activities designed to encourage curiosity and a love for the outdoors. We will also be showcasing Bablake Pre-Prep’s approach to learning, which blends indoor education with extensive outdoor teaching, children gain hands-on experience in understanding and caring for their outside environment.

Activities Include:

• Birdwatching and Care: Little ones can craft their own bird feeders, go bird spotting with binoculars, and build secret bird hides to observe nature up close.
• Plant Your Own Spring Bulbs: Children will learn how to plant a bulb, which can then be taken home, so that they can see it grow and spring into life.
• Springtime Art: Getting creative in our Art room – creating a watercolour masterpiece featuring daffodils and other spring flowers.
• Forest School Adventures: Under the guidance of a skilled Forest School teacher, children will craft clay and stick insects while learning essential outdoor skills.

Our Forest School sessions are always a real highlight and the school’s extensive grounds provide a setting that is perfect for outdoor play and lessons throughout the year and the different seasons.

Parents and children alike will enjoy a hands-on introduction to our unique approach to early education.
