Bablake's Primary Partners Enjoy Outreach Activities

Outreach

Bablake School's Outreach Coordinator, Mrs Cathy Scott-Burt, has been busy arranging activities and events, in conjunction with Senior School staff, for our partner primary schools.

Last term we hosted a fantastic contact rugby day for primary school pupils in conjunction with Wasps Rugby Club. We were delighted to welcome their coaches, players and even their mascot Sting to join in the day. The Bablake hockey teams and coaches also hosted Year 5 primary pupils for an afternoon of hockey skills and we were very pleased to be able to offer our facilities to Coventry Catholic Primary Schools for their cross country races.

Off the sports fields we work with our partner schools to deliver musical theatre days, science practical sessions and lots more, including recently Javanese Gamelan sessions! Later this term there will be two days devoted to STEM activities and a further two concentrating on modern foreign languages.

We are excited to be hosting a musical masterclass on Friday June 17th with international flautist Lisa Nelsen. The workshop she will be running is for pupils who play the flute at grade 3 or above.

Our Outreach Information Booklet has details of all the activities and events on offer in our Outreach Programme. To get involved, to book your place on the Flute Workshop or for more information, please email Mrs Cathy Scott-Burt.
