Choral Evensong At St John's

Please note we are putting on our first Choral Evensong at St. John the Baptist's church this Sunday (7th June) from 4.30pm.

Bablake has many historic links with St John's - commissioned by Queen Isabella in 1344 - and, throughout the school year, the Music Department performs a series of lunchtime concerts there. This, however, is the first time we have contributed to the worship of the church and we are delighted to be further strengthening our links in this way.

Our Chaplain, Reverend Sacha Slavic, will lead the service and the music will be performed by the Junior Choir, directed by Mrs Cathy Scott-Burt, with the organ played by Dr Nick Scott-Burt. It would be wonderful to see many of the wider Bablake community there.
