Sister Tumber Stars In Sell Out Solihull Stage Show

This week sees Bablake's Head of Sixth Form Mrs Alison Tumber converting her academic expertise as a teacher of Religious Studies onto the stage as she plays Sister Mary Theresa in feel-good, musical comedy 'Sister Act'.

The Solihull Arts Complex is the venue for the St Augustine's MTC production, which starts this Tuesday (17th November) and runs until Sunday 22nd November. The show is similar to Whoopi Goldberg's film version, telling how Deloris Van Cartier's life takes a surprising turn when she is placed under police protection in a convent and gives their choir a long overdue makeover!

Two staff parties will be heading to see the show and we await reviews on Mrs Tumber's performance. Since we believe the show is already a sell-out, those seeking tickets now are advised to ring the box office for any returns.
