Director Of Drama Plays The Fool

A production of 'King Lear', starring Bablake's own Director of Drama Ms Caroline Farmer as 'The Fool', opens its week run at the Crescent Theatre, Birmingham today.

Since this play is currently on the specification for A Level English pupils nationally, our 6th Form English and Theatre Studies candidates will be going to support Ms Farmer in the production this week.

Ms Farmer added: 'This production is part of the RSC Open Stages programme. The whole period of rehearsals has been a truly brilliant experience and I am proud to be part of the production. The whole cast's acting is outstanding.'

A reminder that this term's play is 'Othello', which will also be the production we take to Edinburgh in August 2015, Bablake's 29th consecutive year at The Fringe.
