Harvest Festival Baskets Bring Joy To Local Community

Archive Archive

Every year, Bablake delivers harvest baskets to a number of local residents. A fabulous array of foods, cards and flowers always fills the boxes and this year has been no exception. Each of our 15 Lower School forms produced at least 2 boxes each; the Main School Hall certainly looked impressive with its line of gifts.

Mrs Surgey's form is pictured opposite with their exciting variety of gifts that ranged from flowers to chocolates and then all the way to some lovely vegetables fresh from one family's allotment.

This is just one of the many charitable events that Bablake arranges for the local community and, this year, took place on the day that the Coventry Telegraph printed a very positive article about the 15k we raised for charity in the 09-10 academic year. Click here to read their report.
