Sixth Form Scholars Begin This Year's Concert Programme

Our Sixth Form Music scholars opened the exciting programme of concerts planned for 2015-16 with a performance at St John the Baptist's church last week.

An enthusiastic and appreciative audience was treated to a variety of solos that covered strings, wind instruments and vocals. Director of Music Mr Tim Crompton, who accompanied each of the five performers, was delighted with the quality of the performance, especially since the pieces were all prepared before the first A Level session of the year with the majority of the students involved had been completed.

We were also able to stream the concert live, using our Periscope feed, and feedback was very promising.
