County Hat-Trick For The Mousley Boys

Cricket Junior School Sport

Many congratulations to brothers Dan, Alex and Tom Mousley on their selection for the Warwickshire county cricket set up this summer.

With Dan selected for both the U15 and U17 summer squads and Alex having a successful trial for Warwickshire's U12s, it was left to youngest brother Tom (Bablake Junior School) to make it a Mousley county cricketing hat-trick when he received news he had made the U11s.

Mr Andrew Phillips, master i/c Cricket at Bablake, commented: "This is not only a fantastic family achievement, but also a great honour for Bablake. Remarkably, the Mousley lads are not the only Bablake family to achieve this feat either, as Ryan, Ross and Jamie Parnell have also represented the county, although admittedly not all in the same season!"

We understand from Dan that a fourth Mousley family member, his grandfather, could also represent the county again this season at veteran level once recovered from a current injury. We look forward to this happening!

In the meantime, we wish Dan, Alex and Tom all the very best for the cricket season ahead.
