World War One Design Project

In a time when, as a school, we are looking closely at our links with university Engineering departments and employers directly involved with this important area, our Design Technology and Physics departments have joined forces to launch an ambitious 1st World War project.

Mr Chris West, Head of Design Technology, has whet our appetite for more information with the following statement: 'Head of Physics Mr Hyde has a small group of pupils building a propeller, as part of a link with an engineer who is working on a full size model of a WW1 aeroplane.'
