Class of 2008 Enjoys Colourful B Festival!

Senior School Sixth Form

Our Senior Prefect team, Head of 6th Form, Assistant Caretaker, Theatre and Events Technician, emerging contemporary musicians and U6th pupils all combined to present a colourful and entertaining B Festival for the Class of 2008's final day at Bablake.

The beautifully serene early morning view across Bablake's main field changed as the festival goers emerged from across Coventry and Warwickshire. They awoke sharply with the almost traditional water fight which had a colourful twist this year, courtesy of our Head Girl's planning!

A hearty breakfast, some rousing rock and pop songs from Messrs Smith and Wyatt, teenagers in spirit only, and our talented teenage rock stars were followed by some awards from Head of 6th Form Mrs AlisonTumber, words of wisdom from Headmaster Mr John Watson, the distribution of Leavers' Hoodies and an emotional goodbye to peers and form tutors.

Bablake pupils are never forgotten, their friendships last for a lifetime and their achievements are regularly celebrated by the Bablake community, so yesterday was never goodbye for ever! We thank the Class of 2008 again for some wonderful memories and wish them all well for the exciting future ahead.

Photographs from the day are emerging gradually over the weekend on our official Facebook page.
