Photographic Throwback Thursday (Part 1)

At our recent 60s reunion, Old Wheatleyan Andrew Harvey was able to recreate some of the black and white photographs he had taken on the Bablake campus at the end of the 1960s. 

The photographs chosen for this article show the main field looking from what would have been the top of the school's original main drive. Viewers will note that there is no Junior School, no Languages Block and no tarmac playground in the original black and white photograph. Instead the vista leads straight down to the 'newly built' swimming pool.

In our Facebook group for former pupils, a number of excellent form group photographs have been posted recently which have sparked much animated debate!
