Bablake Pupils Everywhere- (4, 5 and 6) The Musicians

The New Year is a suitable time to offer a brief update on three of our 'musical' former pupils:

1. Wes Finch, last seen in Bablake at the end of 2015 performing at our U6th Enrichment gig, has released a limited run 'Live' album, which draws mostly from tracks that were released on his recent album 'Awena'. Those purchasing the album will also be able to hear first-hand how Wes invested the £26 royalties cheque he received last year for BBC 6 coverage! To buy a copy, please click here.
2. Emerging drum 'n' bass artist, Whiney (a.k.a. Will Hine) sees his track 'Komodo' included on a free Med School 'Brixton Bass' EP, available for download here to those pre-registering for Hospitality's event in late April at Brixton 02 Academy. on you lovely lot since its completion and it's now finally available to download for free as part of the 'Brixton Bass' EP! 
3. Olivia Broadfield's songwriting skills, as well as being seen on her 2015 album 'Jumberlack', were heard frequently on national radio in December as she co-wrote the track 'Bird' with Billie Marten, one of Apple Music's tips for 2016. This track and Billie Marten were particularly well promoted by Radio 2 DJ Jo Whiley.
